Impact of Finance Commission Grants on Development of Local Governments – A Special Review on West Bengal SFC and CFC

Abstract

In India the constitution provides for the elaborate and complete procedure to allocate finance commission grants in several state government local bodies and also procedure of state finance commission grants allocation to the different local bodies after periodically revision. Over the period of time the working of state and central finance commission grants have been reviewed in this research paper to maintain the development programs in India.
