Abstract

“Responsibility comes with age and social responsibility comes with tender age”


 


The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act is the governing enactment for ‘Juveniles in Conflict with law’ in India. The main objective of this act was to set up an elective equity framework for their rehabilitation. The onus of its execution is on the Department of Women and Child Development and the Juvenile Justice Boards.
