Abstract

The study examined the implications of road safety initiatives for socio-economic well-being of people in southern senatorial district of Cross River State, Nigeria.


Specific objectives:


 These were to: investigate the association between investing in road transport network and socio-economic wellbeing; determine the association between integrating road safety education into school curriculum and socio economic wellbeing. These were tested as hypotheses in the study. The work was sustained on the open system theory.
