Abstract

The paper brings forth three case studies of human turmoil from three different popular places in India including two states and a union territory and is based on literature review of various popular news platforms and news journals for the period from 25th March 2020 to 14th April 2020. The paper discusses the plight of unfortunate migrant labourers during the first phase- twenty one day lockdown imposed by the Indian Government to contain the spread of covid-19 in India by taking up case studies from these three different places. It describes some real life events associated with the lives of lakhs of migrant workers of the unorganised sector as they became witness to the something which had never interfered the Indian society to this extent i.e. an undying fear of the killing pathogen and bureaucratic experiments by the government to fight it out.
