Authorship should be limited to those persons who have made a significant contribution to the work in terms of conception, design, experimental implementation, and data analysis and interpretation. All persons making significant contributions should be included as co-authors. If an author discovers a significant error in the published work, the author is obligated to inform the journal editor in order to either correct or retract the paper.

Restaurant Business (RS): A Management Journal is a Biannual Journal of Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development. The objective of this journal is to disseminate knowledge encompassing emerging management concepts, product and process innovations, structure and performance of organizations and industries in dynamic socio-cultural, political, technological, economical and political environment.
Journal is indexed within Ebsco Database, Cabell's Directory of Publishing Oppurtunities and Ulrich’s Periodical Directory. 

It would invite articles under following four categories:
Restaurant Business (RS) is aimed at conceptual interpretation of emerging managerial issues and perspectives on organizations, academic institutes, government and society. Analysis would be based on quantitative and qualitative approaches to and empirical research on markets, organizations, economy, accounting, information technology, human resource, business strategies and policy, ethics, finance, and production processes. Case would incorporate real business situation and managerial decision taken at functional, organizational and strategic level. Review would have reviews of current management books and summarization of contemporary research articles of business interest published in creditable international and national journals.

Restaurant Business (RS)  with ISSN 0097-8043 publishes original scholarly articles that apply business theories to the examination of media and the media industries. Restaurant Business focuses on the dynamics of media businesses broadly defined. It has a particular interest in the creation, operation, marketing, distribution and consumption of media businesses and their products, including newspapers, magazines, television, music, film, videogames, literature, advertising, digital/social/new media among others.

Scope of publication in Restaurant Business Journal:

  • Restaurant Business seeks empirical studies that contribute to the theoretical advancement of the field of media business studies, inspired, among others, by the business disciplines of advertising, communications, consumer behavior, economics, entrepreneurship, management, marketing, organizational behavior, organization studies and strategy;
  • Restaurant Business Journal accepts contributions from all methodological traditions, quantitative (experiments, surveys, modelling, etc.) or qualitative (ethnographies, interviews, case studies, etc.);
  • Restaurant Business Journal seeks rigor and thorough reporting in research design, measurement, sampling and statistical or qualitative analysis;
  • Restaurant Business Journal solicits papers with practical relevance for media industry practitioners, policy makers, consumers and other stakeholders in society.

Review policy:
All submitted manuscripts are subject to initial appraisal by the one of the journal editors. If the manuscript is found suitable for further consideration, it is subsequently reviewed by independent, anonymous expert referees. All reviews are double-blinded. Submissions are made via Editorial Manager.
